Located on "D" street in Victorville is the splendid Route 66 Museum. The museum building is a former road house. A wide variety of artifacts from the golden era of the mother road are present. There are also various views of the road today. Be sure to check the excellent selection of Route 66 maps and guide books.

Naturally, "D" street is part of the original Route 66 through Victorville.

Visit the Route 66 Museum web site.

When in the Victorville area, it is mandatory to imbibe in the quintessential road food experience at the Summit Inn Cafe in Cajon Pass.
