Cadillac Ranch consists of ten antique Cadillacs half buried nose first in an empty wheat field near Amarillo Texas. Cadillac Ranch was conceived and executed by a collective of artists called Ant Farm. The land was donated by Stanley Marsh, a local helium tycoon. Graffiti is expected and encouraged by the creators. Cadillac Ranch has won the coveted Golden Flamingo award for attractions of exceptional concept and scope. Visit the Cadillac Ranch web site. |
