Stone Walls, Rural Massachusetts. Between Turner Falls and Woscester. Petersham? Barre? Paxton? (ne102a)
Many stone walls occur in New England. Many of these walls are constructed completely of stone, with no mortar of any kind. A great deal of craftsmanship is involved in building of these walls, as they often stay intact for centuries. It might also be an indication of low incidence of earthquakes in New England.
