One word: Plastics.

As of circa 2008, the National Plastics Center and Museum was closed.

When in Leominster, Massachusetts, it was mandatory to visit the National Plastics Center and Museum. Learn about the history of billiard balls, tupperware, and other scintillating topics.

Visit the Plastics Museum's former web site. The museum was located at 210 Lancaster Street, Leominster, Massachusetts 01453.

Interesting reading also at the plastics society.
